A Candle
Category: Poetry/LyricsA candle is a dream,
It illuminates and it darkens,
raising questions to not be answered,
while letting us have a glimpse of whats real.
Waiting in the darkness,
the candle sits only to be lighted,
that is it’s purpose,
purpose to do nothing,
give us light it must,
answer anything it must’nt.
To want more then light,
from the poor candle,
would be like wanting to know you’re future,
it isn’t something that can be done,
the candle gives light,
and people give answers.
But neither can do each other’s job,
so to rely on each other is only that,
a relationship that must be understood.
