Hi. I’m a writer, and I thought I’d post an abbreviated resume in the hope of getting some work, so I can begin to build up a portfolio of paid literature.

I have had creative fiction and poetry published (or confirmed for publication) in more than ten independent magazines. The details of which magazines these were can be found here: http://www.demonlight.deviantart.com/journal/20053135/#comments

During my time in university, I was guest editor and selected prose fiction for the student edition of the independent magazine SKALD (http://www.skald.org/).

I have had factual articles printed in an independent newspaper (http://www.eveningleader.co.uk/) during unpaid work experience. I also wrote articles and fact sheets for the Centre of Alternative Technology (http://www.cat.org.uk) during unpaid volunteer time- and examples of these can be produced on request since I need permission from the centre.

I have completed a BA hons in English and Creative Writing and received a 1:1. I am due to begin my PhD in Critical and Creative Writing in March 2009.
