Did you sense that something was at stake?

I began to when the narrator commented on her strange absences and the number of things that she never did. I enjoyed the story, and suspected she was the ghost just a bit before she tossed out the reveal. Without the title however I think I would have been surprised.

Thanks Chalice. I guess the ghosts part was really about the ghosts we all carry with us.

Great story! I agree that the title gives it away, but it doesn’t take anything away from the story. I think knowing going in was just part of how well this story flows.

* forgot to mention that I found your makeup of this ghost refreshing. Hauntings and typical ghost ‘rules’ are getting old, and this was novel and great fun!
