This man and this woman, they look at each other.  He is 37 years old and she is 46.  They are just laughing. They are getting along.

What more do they, do we, need to know?

Is there a difference?  Of course.  Why?  What is it?
If they HAD a story, what would it be?

This has to be a story in which their ages come up.  Not every story is like that, but let’s try this.

The juxtaposition of the traits is fascinating:

A young white man walks into a grocery store, meets an old black woman who gives him a stern look.  He then follows her out to a car, gets in, and she drives them away.
