Hey LWW,

Loved the ending. Well, loved the whole thing, but the ending really pleased me. Back to reality. Made me smile smile

Thanks for another great story!

I’m working on something that should generate more feedback from readers.  I liked The Hummer too, mainly because she let herself get so freaked out by it.

Thanks for the read Dave. I wasn’t complaining about feedback LOL. Just that the odd message is a lovely surprise. To be truthful, I consider it enough feedback when a story of mine stays high in the list, which is the same as written approval.

Think you have done a good job making the site easier to negotiate.

Hope the world crisis isn’t getting you down too much. I saw a tee-shirt today:

Love this story - creepy, but not TOO creepy.  Just enough to send gooseflesh up the arms.

Well done.

Oops - that’s an archaic piece of slang.  A tag is/was a nick-name.

Nice to see you too, littlewhitewolf.  Love the tag.

tallblondchick.  Okay, that’s a tag from 35 years ago.  No longer a ‘chick’.  Oh thank heaven.

I know I’m coming in late on this one, but it is absolutely great!  A real human story!  I hope the author… whoever she is, because I assume she is a she… is reading this thread!

Overnight frost has thrown a blanket of white across the grass and it soaked through her jeans, turned to liquid under the heat of her body.

I couldn’t quite get this bit.  Are we to assume that mc had sat on her lawn all night?  If so, how was it that the Hummer engine was still running?

A prehistoric beast squatting on black rubber feet… The beast gave a low roar…

Really enjoyed the human characteristics of the car!

This is the first short story I have read on Litmocracy and when I vote I’m going to put it into first place!
