Greetings and salutations,

I would like to make a suggestion for a new link.

As new members join Litmocracy and allow us to discover new styles and more diversified reading, I find myself wanting to read more of the same.

By this I mean that when I really like a piece, I’d like to be able to read more stories (or news, or poems etc) submitted by that member. There already exists a function allowing us to view all forum posts submitted by a member; would it be possible to add a link that would allow us to see all submissions by a specific member?

The results could appear just like they do when performing a search, a list of links to the submissions along with the first few lines.

Maybe this isn’t possible, but I thought I’d ask in case it is and other people think it’s a good idea.

Click the author’s name and on the page for that author’s profile, you will see a link below his or her name “View all posts by… ”  I think it shows only workshop submissions.  I guess I should adjust the wording there wink.

Ah HA!

The feature is available in the forums and in the workshop, but each place only displayed items in that section of the site.  I have changed the link so you can get to either list from either place.  Since you tried the forum “View all…” link, you got forum posts.  I tried the workshop link and got workshop posts.  Check it out now!

Thanks for finding this strangeness.  Your observations and input are really helping Litmocracy grow and improve.

Dave.

Most helpful indeed!
This is much more practical for my little right-brained head smile

Thanks Dave!

Hi Elida,
Your reply makes you look like a spammer.  Here’s how to fix it: Mention what you were searching for and why, and then identify what information was useful and why.
