Have you ever been scammed, or rejected an offer because you suspected it was a scam?  Have you ever taken my approach, and engaged the scammer?  I believe it is helpful to engage because there’s a chance that you can improve the level of honesty in the world.  I just wish more people kept this in mind while they listen to politicians.
