  • You should be “As Mad As Hell.” America belongs to the people.  Stop the wars.  Stop the corruption.  Fire them all! Start over.  We need a new Continential Congress to update, correct, and save America from public apathy and corporate special interest.

  • America belonged to the people. We sold it for $14 trillion dollars worth of housing we couldn’t afford and American Idol being cabled into 97% of all homes. Created equally. Regulated into mediocrity.

  • Not being a US of A er, it hard to comment; but the piece says it well, and contains it all. The last verse is a clincher: that really does say it all. The ‘voters’ really don’t hold the power; yet! The media is the instrument of decision on behalf of the rich and powerful; and often they are the same. That is not limited to the USA. Those that believe ‘it is’ a Democacy; really are deluded!

  • It doesn’t even say it’s a democracy in the title of this tragedy. The Republic of the United States of America, the remake based on the original version written by Nero, Caligula, Claudius and the like.
