  • I bet this was inspired by events in Birmingham.  I think you should add some references to it - or to whatever it is that inspired you.  When I first read it, it seemed like something from the 60s or 70s - because that was civil rights time here in America.  But then I remembered hearing about Birmingham.

    I like the progression through a person’s life.

    The structure makes this seem kind of like a poem, and if you can get it to meter, rhyme, and/or alliterate more, that would be cool too.

  • uhhhmmmm…..okay…who wrote this…Hail Mary full of grace, I won’t compete in a human race, tired of fear & being alone, desires died, assent has grown…Race, the word itself, is an odd description for a difference in color don’t you think? Who wins? Seems everyone loses if we use color as a tool of some earthly boundary…
