  • I walked back to the rack and thought again.
    If that last one wasn’t right, then, what?

    Fingering the fabric, I closed my eyes.
    Just to be fair. 
    Something beautiful then
    Made its way, and I decided on that one.
    Still with eyes closed, I imagined it
    A sea green, or maybe turquise, with beautiful sunset orange accents.

    What colour was it, really?
    Did it still smell funny?
    What happens next?

    (Needless to say, I found this evocative and kind of inspiring!)
