The S-Word

Pregnant sluts, nauseous in waiting-room chairs.
Sluts with bruises, or smeared lipstick and torn clothes.
Sluts who fuck to forget.
Sluts who fuck to feel beautiful.
Sluts who

like
sex.
Slut. Slag. Slapper. Skank.
They’re just small s-words, pricking the skin.
Keep your head up.
Don’t let the wolves in.
