What are you reading? What did you read? What should I read next?

I shall submit: Timothy Findley (the book about the Ark, but I can’t remember the name of it ... “Not Wanted on the Voyage”?)
and Margaret Atwood (just pick something and dislike it, if you like. I had a boyfriend once who used to call her “Margaret Catfood").

They’re both Canadian, but then, so is William Shatner.

I read James Joyce, “Ulysses”, once, with commentaries. It’s cool if you have time. I ain’t doin’ it again. Anyone out there got time to read “Remembrance of Things Past”???

Favorite Stephen King novels (pick two): Mine: Salem’s Lot. The Stand.

Right at the moment I am not reading anything, but I just finished reading some good animal books by someone named Vicki Hearne, eg. “Animal Happiness”. Sadly, she’s dead of cancer, just recently, but lives in her books.

It would be cool to see what other people are reading, have read, or recommend.

As you can see from my user name, a true newby has arrived. I’ve been meaning to get round to writing for ages, and have always managed to procrastinate because I’ve been ‘too busy’. Not any more folks. Looking forward to learning lots from fellow members, and appreciating your writing. I’m in great company it seems - impressive bios! I’m wide-eyed.

Hoi all!

Hope summer has treated you well and life is good. To all those parents out there, Happy Back To School Day! Yeeha…

Now onto bidness…

The Barb Terry Book, How Athletes Roll has been released and is for sale. It’s already Comfort Publishing’s best seller ever, and Barb is doing a ton of media, with shows like GMA, Today and Jimmy Kimmel lined up, so I’m very pleased. Can’t wait to do the second book, and as you can see by the videos on the site with Michael Strahan and Too Tall Jones, we’re working on a television show as well. Currently, I have 2 more books in the fire and am already receiving decent responses on another book I wrote called Down For The Count by a few agencies, so wish me luck.

Also, I will have some small overflow work, mainly web copy, if anyone is interested. Just drop me a line.

I hope to hear from some of you folks out there too, as to what you’re up to, what you’ve been doing. If anybody has any releases coming out, let me know about that as well. We’d love to let everyone know where they can see your work or where they can get a copy. I know Summer is busy and filled with vacations and swimming and such things, but I’m sure some of you have been pounding away on the keyboard, and we’d like to see what you’ve been doing.

As for me, I guess it’s back to work yet again.

Ho-Hum....

I guess it beats not having work to do, eh!
