Stupid computer! Isn’t it obvious??! Lydia has posted her poem about becoming a ghost and it inspired Julia. Duh!
Well, yeah, I do have a suggestion. When you are inspired by someone, especially if it is because they have written something, leave some allusions to that person (or - even better - what they wrote) even if they’re pretty obvious, because these “links” are part of what makes literature so fascinating. My good friend Don Eminizer often reminds me that it was James Joyce who quite nearly invented the idea of “hyperlinking” - which is now rampant on the web (because it is such a neat tool). If you happen to have a blog, such links add another dimension to writing and are also very much appreciated by those who inspired you.
