What a week. Hope yours was grand?

So the L.A. trip was awesome, things are progressing at now a rapid pace on Web of Destruction but we’ll hit that next newsletter. 99 Burning will be playing LA shortly too, more news to come. All this thanks to Litmock and hard work. Now let’s get down to this weeks business!

L.A. - Couldn’t have been better, Jon Clark, 99 Burning’s drummer, and I flew out Friday and came back Tuesday. Much accomplished. Found a n-i-c-e producer for Web, more news later, hung out with Dave and talked business. Dave pointed this out in fact, two weeks ago we called Friday the 13th as a turning point in the stock market, and said we’d make money off of its fall. Since that time, as of today, it’s fallen about 800 points. We’ve made money. Also, made contacts that help our publishing and film making interests. Life is good if you make it so! K, enough of that for now.

We continue to tinker and any ideas for site improvement are appreciated. We implemented the freelance section and have this to announce. I tender this offer to 4 helpful and talented writers. I’m asking IWill, Theresa Jean, Julianyway and Writeaway to help me with a book about the Alien Grave Yard. I’ll get with them about the details and Dave will get with them about financial details but in a nutshell, I’m offering to pay them each $100 for 25 ghost written pages. And.....when are you guys going to start stock market and financial training...?? 

We’ll start stock market training when the DOW is somewhere south of 10,500.  Should be soon.  Maybe Monday.  We’re a bit worried for everyone else, actually.  I attribute our success to the fact that Don approaches analysis from the perspective of reading everything and detecting the bias in 99% of it, whereas I approach it from the perspective of checking all the numerical data and finding the cases where all that news has driven other investors to tremendous overreactions.  Our methods are kind of opposite in nature, so whatever passes as a good idea for both of us usually is.

One important thing about investing is to figure out how to make a profit when you know a stock price is going to fall.  We’re expecting the ongoing volatility in the stock market (I’m not sure why they don’t call it “decrease” - because if it was volatile in the UP direction, they wouldn’t call it volatility, they’d call it “success") to drive a lot of people away from stocks.  Those people will sell the valuable things themselves (publicly traded companies that make money serving people rather than governments) to the few who have all the useless green paper.  The Fed (central bank of the US) has been lending $75B here and there to these entities, and I wouldn’t doubt that it is so they can pick up stocks on the cheap when the DOW is under 10,500.

If you lend Litmocracy money for a year, you’ll make 10% on it - has to be at least $1000.  It’s kind of like a 10% one-year CD.  But I can only offer this to people who trust me.
