Hope your Holiday Season is going well. Personally I think Sartre was only part right, hell is other people, and fighting those other people in a mall two days before commercialmas to get the last fricking Elmo doll so your kid doesn’t need therapy for the next decade. Might just be me, but the Holiday has lost it’s meaning. It’s supposed to be about drinking and football.
Anyway, we gots some news. I will have more work available in January and February, better work too, but the better work goes to those who’ve been helping first. I have to see what you have before I put my name and faith behind it. I need stuff I can edit and fix and not have to rewrite entirely. So far I’ve seen some good stuff. Keep it coming. Anybody interested, contact me directly, Star Lizard and Prometheus have been accepted and paid on the first stuff they submitted, and have worked on more stuff since. Robin, your piece was accepted, I’ll have some stuff for you shortly.
I’m going to be a bit busy this month, I’m editing a book about hegemony in the education system under contract that has a February 1st deadline, I have a book I’m ghost writing on interviews with 4o sports stars from Nascar, the NFL and MLB, plus Marc Spitz and Sugar Ray Leonard, and, yes Tiny Tim, there is a Santa Claus: I’m covering the SuperBowl for a magazine. I’ll be in Tampa from January 29th through February 3rd. Attending VIP parties, Press Pass, whole 9! I’m a bit more than excited, but other work is piling up so I will have some available.
On the site front, we had a snafu in the coding for the December Satire contest (which you can still enter), but we can’t close it out until we get enough votes, so please vote, particularly those who entered, so we can start a new contest! The Snafu has been fixed, all is working now, and the Internet as we know it has returned to normalcy, saved from a cruel flawed coding fate by our very own Dave Scotese. Anyway, I’ll drop a couple of these before going to the SuperBowl and will report from there, but in the meantime those looking for work contact me at deminizer13@yahoo.com.
