Another Sunday with enough free time to browse the net and Duotrope, and I stumble upon Litmocracy, and here I am.  I’ve been a poet since my teenage years and even published three books of French poetry—I was born and grew up in Port-au-Prince, Haiti; I’ve been living in the US for the past 17 years.  For the past two years I’ve been trying to write in English, both fiction and poetry.  How am I doing so far? Not great, you know the drill, but I keep writing, hoping that one day I’ll get published.  I’ve been working on a few short stories and planned to submit them to your consideration in the coming days.
