Ahem:  News, tidbits and Holiday tidings…

Howdy and welcome to 2011,

Happy New Year and hope the Holidays were sweet. While it is 2011, we as of yet don’t all have flying cars and few of us are scheduled for vacations to the Moon or Mars, but hey, many things have changed. The Patriots are the best team in the NFL. We have a President completely removed from his citizens who is totally clueless. Hmmm. Perhaps nothing much has changed. Well. My dollars have turned into change anyway.

But here at Litmocracy we like to move forward. We see change as a good thing. To that end, we’re doing some things different this New Year. We’re working on fixing bugs in the site, including in the voting system. In fact,we’re developing a regular paying contest that will reward people for voting, writing and commenting, a Litmocracy Scavenger hunt that will be fun, that will help hone skills and spur activity on the site, and that will provide some dollars.

Also, we’re converting part of litmocracy into a full time publishing site, and will be building a publishing division on a section of this site with more details. We’ll be ramping it up with Barb Terry‘s second book, soon to be released, called Getting Greasy Made Easy. More details will be forthcoming. In fact, there’s so much change, I’ll be sending a newsletter weekly from now on with contest details, developments and so forth.

So get used to seeing more from me. I’m coming to your home each and every week. Better have lots of wine. And chips. I like pretzels. Star likes Bugles.
