Your vignette makes me want to know more about its setting, but I suppose vignettes are supposed to make you want more.  It was easy to read but hard to understand, but I like stories that make you think.

It reminded me of something I once told my dad.  He had remarked that the reason people talk to each other is to share information and I said “No, most peolpe have conversations just because they’re fun to have.”  He disagreed with me, but a couple weeks later he told me that he’d noticed that I was right.

I want to know more about these people, Jerry, a great deal more.  I want to get to know them. Please write more about them.
