Interesting…kinda leaves me wanting to see this guy succeed in cheering the writer up a bit, and I think, if I extrapolate the possible outcome of their Saturday date, she finds some redeeming quality in this poor chap, or, she grows a pair and tells him to flake off. Any definitive outcome, rather than the languishing shackles of indecisive avoidance. Nice pace, good descriptive terms, but I’m a sap for the underdog. Well done, carry on

Ok, maybe I’ve been suckered in, but I’ll bite anyway.  There’s got to be a more interactive way to deal with people you don’t want to deal with.  Take dogs as an example.  If I want to smell your butt, you let me.  but if my nose touches it, you have every right to snap at me.  Dogs got it down.

Read the link and sounds like good advice.
The only problem is I’m not pretty, you might say I’ve an interesting face [if you want to be kind]I’ve heard it said I’ve a face full of mischief. Talking is my thing - so the advice doesn’t apply really - I’ve come to the conclusion, perhaps it would be better to keep my mouth shut, scowl and pass wind. That would do it I think. [grin]
