I Remember

There are not *nearly* enough reminders of this point. I can’t tell if I liked ‘I Remember’ so much because of the poem itself or the idea I sort of imposed upon it that this is addressed to a girl with whom the author has a long and healthy relationship (“and still are”). But the fact is that it let me do that so easily. It’s light and sweet and tasted good like cotton candy.
