This (I wonder) popped up before my eyes, across from Kitty’s entry ...when I arrived at Litmocracy.  ...and as I was reading it(as it had been a Friday night, all of us havin’ a Kitchen Pairty on the Shores o’ PEI...[do re me P-E-I]), I thought how well the two would go together as a song.

One thing could follow the other, and they could float across each other, so that each thing was its own thing, with the other thing as the background music. 

If you could see them juxtaposed, the way I do. 
I don’t know how to arrange that.  Maybe Dave (God) can!

That last line really made it for me.  Maybe / I’m the one who needs to open my eyes to see.  This is a sadly neglected and devastatingly underused sentiment.  I wanted more of a build up to it.  Maybe Julie’s right about mixing them together.  Counterpoint-like.
