Another anti-intuitive situation that doesn’t have too much to do with math is this: Suppose an immortal being travels in one direction through the universe. Either they traverse an infinite distance over their infinite lifetime, or they don’t. Either case seems impossible, but there is no other alternative.
Also, there is a definite last number in the ordered list of numbers less than or equal to, say 10. But in the very similar list of numbers less than 10, there is no such last number.
Math is fun. For some of us.
