Is there more of this?  I could imagine getting kind of attached to some of these characters.  Does the plot thicken?

I really love it; it’s stunning.  It’s almost like a character portrait, but judging from your reply to Julianyway’s comment, it’s not.  The main character (was his name mentioned?) reminds me very much of Holden Caulfield from Catcher in the Rye by D Saligner; almost not willing to accept that there is a real world and would rather just drink and smoke his time away.  You’ve really captured middle-America; stero-typical rednecks.  Congradulations; you have skill with characters.
