I agree. But whenever I read of American disillusionment, I’m confronted by the illusion. We never were America. We were witch burners, slave owners, Indian killers, land grabbers, union busters, prohibitionists, nuclear bombers, corporate imperialists. Still are. But once you shed the illusion, there’s nothing to be disillusioned about, except the propaganda. I pledge allegiance...to political bosses...under God...with bullshit for all.

Well, it’s a pretty country. But they all are. Sweden, Italy, France, Spain, England, Germany, Panama. What we should do - is eliminate concepts like borders, nationality, differences. We’re people, earthlings. Why do we let them set us against each other? Organized religion is simply mental slavery. But everyone does it. So...maybe we should just piss in the wind.
