Captain Vegetable, my mother would be so grossed out. I cringe for her.

My Mum too, she absolutely hated anything crawly or slimy… if both, so much the worse.

It reminds me of a story though… When we were kids my brothers and I collected absolute handfuls of slugs and snails, then, when my Mum drove back into the driveway, we put them all over the windshield of her car. She screamed and wouldn’t leave the car until we’d pulled them all off again.

We got in some major trouble for that one, and spent the afternoon cleaning the car again with salted water.
