SPEED SHOP QUEENS
Category: Poetry/LyricsSPEED SHOP QUEENS
Hearts
Broken hearts
Pistons, wire wheels and parts
They were the speed shop queens
The fastest gals you’ve ever seen
There was Push Rod Sally and Hot Starts
Well there amidst the racks
Amongst the tires and the jacks
These gals would trade their love for laughs
They could warm the manifold
Of the coldest Angel’s soul
Pumpin’ more than high performance gas
Hearts, broken hearts…
They travelled with the packs
The knew the alleys and the tracks
Flashin’ their big chrome plated smiles
In a rod or on a bike
They’ll do anything you like
They can get it on in less thast half a mile
Hearts, broken hearts…
They say it’s no disgrace
To come in second place
But first place was the only place they’d been
The only thing they didn’t know
Was how to do it slow
They were the fastest gals you’d ever seen
Hearts, broken herats…
