Smeared with thoughts and memories
Thing’s it’s seen
Thing’s it’s been
The good and the bad
The fights and the fancies
Sweet smelling pansies
The walls covered in bright paintings
Or as dull and bare as can be
How many beautiful things
How many unthinkable things
Can a window witness
